We are grateful that Dr Sultan Barakat, Professor of Public Law at the Qatar Foundation’s Hamad Bin Khalifa University, will join us to deliver a lecture and Q&A on the rise of mediation in conflict management, humanitarian responses, and post-conflict recovery, focusing on the resolution of state-state and state-non-state actor conflicts through mediation. Professor Barakat is a leading expert in this field, influencing global practices through his publications and advisory roles with organizations like the United Nations, World Bank, and European Union. The event will be moderated by our assessor, Professor Zachary Calo.
The lecture will take place in theatre U10 of the Juridicum.
