It’s time to set your sights on a week that promises to be nothing short of exhilarating! The much-anticipated IBA-VIAC Mediation & Negotiation Competition is returning in 2024, and we’re thrilled to share the dates with you:
Applications are Open
The applications for Mediator and Negotiator Teams, Assessors, and Volunteers open on 15 November 2023. Find all you need for your application on our website:
- For Mediator Teams.
- For Negotiators Teams.
- For Assessors.
- For Volunteers.
Applications for Teams Close
Mediator and Negotiator Team must submit their applications electronically no later than 31 January 2024, 23:59 CET.
Applications for Expert Assessors Close
Expert Assessors must submit their applications electronically no later than 16 February 2024, 23:59 CET.

IBA-VIAC CDRC Pre-Moot Conference 2024
Join us for the 2nd IBA-VIAC CDRC Pre-Moot Conference. It will take place on 5 July 2024 | 8:30am – 4:30pm | Juridicum. The following topics will be covered:
- Mediation, Negotiation, and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- The Importance of Process Design in Twinning Mediation and Arbitration.
- Mediating Environmental Disputes – Lessons from Practice and Policy.
