Jenny Marie Driver
Just completed her law degree from SOAS, University of London in the UK. Her legal studies led her to compete in CDRC Vienna 2016, which founded her interest and passion for mediation. Jenny also participated as a volunteer in the ICC mediation competition earlier this year. Previously to studying law, Jenny earned a BA in French and Linguistics. She has interned in law firms in the UK and in Luxembourg as well as undertaking a legal translation and interpretation position for a year in a Paris consulting firm. Aside from French and English, Jenny also speaks Spanish and is learning German. Jenny has enjoyed taking part in the Young Global Ambassador Programme and as such was looking forward to continuing her
CDRC experience in the third edition of the competition.
Tanima Tandon graduated from National Law University, Delhi with a B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and the Vice Chancellor’s Gold Medal in 2015. She is a certified civil and commercial mediator with the ADR Group, London. Her exposure to ADR varies from organising trainings and observing court-annexed mediations to judging and competing in several tournaments including the FDI international Arbitration Moot, INADR Dublin, INADR Chicago and the Med-Arb Moot in Hong Kong.
Studies Law at PUC-SP and Public Administration at FGV. Semi-Finalist negotiator from PUC-SP at the 2nd CDRC Vienna (The IBA-VIAC Mediation & Negotiation Competition organized by ELSA) . Worked as an intern at Braga Nascimento & Zilio Law Firm in 2014. Participated as a negotiator from PUC-SP at the 11th International Commercial Mediation Competition, held by ICC. Coauthor of the books “Decisões do Direito, limites contra legem” and “O Novo Código de Processo Civil Brasileiro: Um Enigma a ser decifrado”.
Georgi is a law student at Sofia University “St.Kliment Ohridski”, pursuing a career in international commercial law and ADR. He works at Legal Solutions Partners, a boutique law-office providing legal and business advice with a prime focus on commercial matters. Having participated in many international forums, i.e. ICMC 2016 (Paris) and the second edition of CDRC, and having successfully certified as a professional mediator, Georgi aims to play an important role in the Bulgarian ADR community and actively promote mediation in his home country. Literature, theatre and travelling are among Georgi’s plethora of interests.
I graduated Law School from Université Saint- Joseph de Beyrouth. I am currently an intern at DWF (Middle East) LLP Dubai in the arbitration department. I am a certified student mediator by the Centre Professional de Médiation USJ. I participated at the first edition of CDRC Vienna 2015 and won first prize for negotiation. This competition completely changed my view on the power of mediation and negotiation in resolving disputes.
A law student at Jagiellonian University and politics student at University College London. He participated in the 2 nd edition of CDRC Vienna as a negotiator. Vicemaster of Poland in parliamentary debates and an active member of the debating society in Cracow. Vividly interested in mediation as a mutually beneficial and fascinating way of dispute resolution. He would like to pursue this method as it glorifies talking to people instead of punishing them.
Jasmin Rosita Zareie is a Political Science and Doctor of Laws degree student at the University of Vienna. In her studies, she specializes in civil litigation and international commercial law with a special focus on arbitration and mediation. She already gained professional experience by working with some Austrian top law firms. She is fluent in German, English, Farsi, French and has a good command of Spanish. In her free time Jasmin enjoys playing the piano, reading, debating and travelling.
Hana Láníková has a bachelor´s degree in International Relations, Diplomacy (Czech Republic) and a master’s degree in International Administration (United States). She is also currently finishing her Law school degree and will be starting an LL.M. in Mediation and Arbitration soon. Hana hopes to combine this knowledge and become a skilled international mediator. She gained her passion for mediation and negotiation while participating in the ICC Competition (2015) and the 1st CDRC Vienna Competition, where she ended among the best 4 mediators. She is also currently working at a law firm mainly focused on international commercial law. In her free time, Hana loves to read books and travel.
