The University of Vienna, Faculty of Law, Juridicum

After four years at the University of Economics and Business, CDRC has now moved to the Juridicum in Vienna’s city center, following its roots, the Vis Moot Arbitration Competition.

Home to Vienna’s law students, the Juridicum lies in the heart of the city and is one of the biggest institutions for legal research and education in the German-speaking world.  Since 1402, students of law have been drawn to study at the University of Vienna and, since 1984, an impressive glass building is accommodated some of the most brilliant law professors and students in all of Austria.

Due to its location in the city center, it is conveniently accessible by tram, bus or subway. Within walking distance, you can find the Stephansdom – Vienna’s famous landmark, and many other cultural sites.

The Juridicum provides a more intimate atmosphere for the competition, as all rooms are located in the same building, allowing more interaction within all participants of the event. Announcements and registration will be held on the top floor of the building, whereas the negotiations will take place in the various seminar rooms.

Many hotels, restaurants, shops and take-aways can be found close to the Juridicum.
